Operation banish that tum & those bingo wings!

Well, last week I picked up and constructed my new abs trimmer and dumbells. They are only cheap ones from Argos but I have really got into it. I started by doing 15 sit ups, 15 side elevations, 15 biceps curls and 15 triceps curls per day. After a week, I have built this up to 30 sit ups per day and 20 of the weights exercises. I shall continue to build up my reps as I have noticed firmer arms already. Next step: some cardio exercise. It is the Easter hols so I do have time for some walking, swimming or even running but I haven't yet found the motivation! I think I'm going to purchase the 'Running Made Easy' book to try and put a plan together - I am determined to run the Race for Life!

Am managing to stay off the Easter eggs, although I did have an argument with a pack of 6 hot cross buns on Sunday. Have made up for the points value now, so I can enjoy my 23 points again today. Started off the day with a big cooked breakfast (1 WW sausage, 2 rashers of Healthy Living bacon, 1 egg scrambled with some Flora EL, mushrooms, tomatoes and 1 slice of Burgen seed bread) 6 points but worth every one!

I am now fitting very comfortably into size 18 bottoms which is fantastic but more importantly, some size 18 tops are fitting (which means I've lost some off my top half where I carry a lot of extra weight). I going through all my clothes and having a clear out. I'm going to try selling on Ebay for the first time to recooperate some of the money I have spent on clothes on there recently!!

  2. Hi Manda - I've added you too!

Thank you. I'm too scared to go to the gym at the moment and don't think I have the motivation to get my money's worth so doing it at home is working for me at the mo.
