
Lovely tuna meatballs. Very easy to make and can be frozen. Serves 2
Tuna Balls
1 large tin of tuna
1.5 slices of WW wholemeal bread (breadcrumbs)
2 Spring Onions (finely chopped)
1 egg (beaten)
Sauce
1/2 red onion (finely chopped)
1 glove of garlic
1 tin of chopped tomatoes
tsp of tomato puree
1/2 tsp Chilli powder
1/2 tsp Dried mixed herbs
pepper & salt
Pasta
Any type (medium dried portion - 40g per person)
1. Mix the tuna ingredients in a bowl and form into 14 small balls (slightly smaller than a ping pong ball)
2. Fry the onion and garlic in a saucepan with a little Frylight until soft. Add the tomatoes and other ingredients and stir well. Leave to simmer for 10-15 minutes.
3. Cook the pasta according to instructions on packet.
4. Heat a frying pan with a little Frylight and cook the tuna balls for 6-10 minutes.
