Weight Loss Update

Things have been a bit slower in the weight loss department recently. I have more or less been sticking to my points but I don't quite as in control as I was. In a way this is a good thing, as I was being very, very strict about my eating but I also don't want to let things slip too far.

This week has been OK. Planned and tracked all my meals and although I have binged, I did manage to point it all (and I don't have anything dangerous in the house!). I lost another 2 lbs this week, bringing my weight to 13 stone 11 lbs. I'm really pleased with that and definitely feel better for it.

I've been helping out, taking money etc, at meetings while my friend is volunteering in the US. It's really dull and I don't feel quite as big a part of the group anymore even though I make sure that go and sit with them in the meeting (I am still paying for a monthly pass, so will be getting my money's worth thank you very much!).

Work is unbelievably stressful at the moment and I feel very overwelmed by it all. We only have 4 weeks, 3 days left but there is so much to fit in and we are overdue an OfSTED inspection too. On the lighter side, one of the boys in my class shouted to me yesterday when I ate one of his friend's crisps, "Oi Miss I thought you were on a diet!" He's right, I must stop picking or I'll end up 16 stone again.

Plans for this week:

  • Stick to planed meals
  • Up my weights training
  • Avoid burgers at summer fayre tomorrow
  • Use the weekend wisely to catch up on some work so I'm less stressed
No word from my secret crush as yet, although there is no sign that he has been online either (not that I'm a stalker or anything ;-)) Sundays and Mondays are the days he's sometimes online, so I'll give him til Tues before I give up and move my obsessions to someone else!

  1. stress definitely equals eating in my world and it's so unfair that the best BBQ food is prevalent during bathing suit season! What is up with that??
