As I have said before, I'm planning on running the Race for Life in Portsmouth on the 19th July. My training programme hasn't quite worked out as planned but I have been upping my exercise. Today I managed to run with the kids for about 10 minutes without stopping. I know this doesn't sound a lot but for me it is a major improvement. I could've kept going but it wasn't fair on my class! To run the race, I would only need to increase my time by 5 minutes per week which I think is do-able. My new lycra running trousers (in size 16) were great and everyone commented on how thin my legs and bum were looking (wayyyyyheyyyyy!). They still haven't put the running track on the school field so I haven't been running after work but hopefully it will be done over half term.
